Internships

Tokyo & Kyoto

ABOUT CROSS LABS

We’re hiring talented early-career individuals for a wide variety of projects for our teams in Tokyo and Kyoto. Our mission is to bridge the divide between intelligence science and AI technology at the service of human society. To achieve this, we're building a team of individuals whose interests cover diverse topics including artificial life, cognitive neuroscience, collective intelligence, deep learning, robotics, computational linguistics, mathematics, physics, art, science communication, education, and more. We encourage team members to explore a topic that interests them and pushes us closer to making science fiction a reality. To see a few of our current and ongoing projects, visit https://www.crosslabs.org/blog.

We offer internships for undergraduate, Masters, & PhD students on a competitive basis. Interns are hired internally and with institutions with which Cross Labs has an ongoing collaboration for a specific topic of research. Our internships range from 3-12 months with funding from their home institution, lab, or other program/source. We can provide internal funding for strong applicants who wish to pursue 12-months internships. Internships are meant to provide students with an opportunity to develop a strong, meaningful project that serves as a springboard for their own career and is in line with the Cross Labs research mission.
